You guys had the statement about using an empty car to separate and have some “me time”. All our train rides my friend and I spent on our trips we at together. I was able to have plenty of me time with head phones, focusing on my laptop, napping. It was nice knowing the guy next to me was looking out for me and I was for him. Perhaps NYC is different than Philly with train travel, but I routinely sit immediately next to someone and have plenty of me time. Maybe it’s just a practice thing.
Great commentary about getting their early and having time to read the signs and get the right train information. Reduces so much stress.
